Frank Ishman is a Chicago based photographer and artist. Frank visited my studio to shoot my work for a publication in 2018 and along the way we decided to collaborate on an additional photo shoot just for fun. We spoke about creating a miniature world in and around my Resin-Bonded Sand and Ice-Cast Bronze objects.
My miniaturized wife Bridgette became the subject in an imaginary treasure hunt ascending through sand caverns and through a bronze jungle. Photos and story by Frank Ishman.
